Financial Planning Administration Assistant 

As a integral part of the financial planning admin team, you will be accountable for a range of administration tasks including, but not limited to:

  • building relationships and liaising with clients
  • facilitating the delivery of advice to clients and co-ordinating the required paperwork
  • managing diary commitments and arranging meetings
  • maintaining Xplan records and relevant client information ensuring these are up to date
  • maintaining term deposit information and liaising with clients
  • preparing invoices and service agreements
  • extracting reports from Xplan and other admin as required

Experienced Auditor 

Responsibilities encompass helping with all stages of the audit process (planning, evidence gathering and completion) for external audits, special purpose reports and control testing. Detailed activities include: 

  • Extracting client information from any relevant software (MYOB, Reckon, Xero, Dropbox etc).
  • Completing audit planning and testing with assistance from senior staff.
  • Conducting audit evidence gathering at client locations and at LBW Offices.
  • Performance of analytical procedures / tests of detail during all stages of audit to identify misstatements or errors.
  • Develop an understanding of client’s controls and processes relevant to the audit.
  • Produce business reports and management letters to clients.

Work experience 

  • Working towards CA/CPA qualification or equivalent, or recently finished.
  • Minimum 3 years Public Practice audit experience
  • Exposure to audit and accounting standards

Accountant/Book Keeper

Due to continued growth we are looking for an experienced accountant or book keeper to join our busy business services team.

The successful candidate will have strong accounting knowledge either as an accountant or book keeper and relevant experience in public accounting including:

  • solid understanding of trusts, companies, partnership accounting
  • ability to prepare and analyse financial statements, tax returns, BAS and FBT returns
  • exposure to tax planning and advisory services
  • exposure to cloud accounting software i.e. MYOB, QuickBooks, Xero etc

The successful candidate will:

  • be working towards CA/CPA qualification, or recently finished (preferable)
  • have 2 plus years public practice accounting experience
  • have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • possess strong organisational and time management skills
  • demonstrate the ability to analyse, research and resolve problems
  • ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
