The 2016 GBEA presentation night was held at the Arena on Thursday 18 August 2016. The night was extremely successful and all attendees made very positive comments in relation to the night.
There were 20 awards up for grabs by the entrants with the main Business of the Year award being won by Adroit Insurance. This was an amazing win for Andrew and his team at Adroit after winning the Commercial Service Large business award earlier in the night. Adroit entered the awards in 2012 and won best first year award. Their transformation over the past 4 years has been amazing.
It was also pleasing to see 3 small/medium size businesses being finalists in the business of the year award being Blush Bar, Harcourts North Geelong and Waterfront Health Studio.
In relation to the LBW Chartered Accountants Large Business award , this was won by the St John of God.
The principals and staff of LBW also congratulate LB Building who were finalists in the Sustainability, Emerging Business and Best first year categories.
The principals of LBW believe these awards are very positive for all businesses and would recommend that entry in the awards is a worthwhile experience. If you would like further information on the GBEA please contact Kelli Finlayson at the Geelong Chamber of Commerce.
