ATO and the myGov inbox

Individuals that have created a myGov account and linked this account to the Australian Taxation Office will now receive their Notice of Assessments, tax receipts and other ATO mail direct to their myGov account.
Any mail received by individuals via the myGov account will no longer be received by our office in paper form.
As your tax agent we will be able to see a copy of the mail, SMS and emails that the ATO have sent you. We will not have access to your myGov inbox – instead we will see copies via the Tax Agent Portal.
If you don’t have a myGov account linked to the ATO, we will continue to receive your ATO mail via the post.
