“Golden” Networking Opportunity

Oct 8, 2018 | Community, LBW News

Tourism Greater Geelong and the Bellarine today hosted their Heroes Luncheon with a special guest speaker – multiple Olympic gold medal winner and OAM recipient Dylan Alcott OAM.  Dylan was an incredibly engaging speaker on the project “Destination: Accessible”, a subject very close to his heart. He highlighted that there are over 4.5 million people in Australia that have some form of disability – which is 1 in 5 people.

He was also generous enough to bring in one of his many Olympic gold medals which our HR Manager Maria and Principal Richard were both lucky enough to get to hold.

For more information head to the Tourism Greater Geelong and the Bellarine website or the Dylan Alcott Foundation website.
