Several of the principals of LBW were nominated to undertake the ice bucket challenge, namely Nick Klein, Simon Flowers and Leigh Harry. So it was decided that all 3 would undertake the challenge at the firms monthly BBQ lunch in front of all the staff on 29 August 2014. Michael Teague and Jacqui Malloch had the pleasure of dumping water over Nick and Leigh at the BBQ lunch. However, due to a death in Simon’s immediate family his was delayed until Saturday morning when his girls had the pleasure of tipping ice cold water over him, not once but twice.
Obviously the ice bucket challenge has been prevalent amongst the media and sporting teams recently and was first initiated in the US. The ice challenge is undertaken to support motor neurone disease. If you wish to find out more or wish to make a donation head to www.mndaust.asn.au.
