LBW Financial Planning

There has been a lot of press regarding financial planning in recent months, and not much of it has been good news. With financial planning issues being addressed at CBA and also Macquarie, it is common for people to question the need for a financial planner and for whom are they looking after, their clients or themselves?

At LBW Financial Planning we make sure that our client’s interests are placed first. It is legislation that they are, but we would like to think that we didn’t need this recent legislative change to make us undertake something many assumed was the case.

I have over 17 years experience in the financial services field, including the last 12 as a financial adviser, and hold the CFP certification, which is the highest qualification attainable in the financial planning industry, as well as being a member of the Financial Planning Association. I am also a Certified Practicing Accountant. Not all financial planners have such experience and hold these levels of qualification. At LBW we would argue you should only see a financial planner who has such qualifications and membership to ensure you are dealing with professionals who are qualified to work in this industry.

We believe that we can offer our clients a high level of service and advice, in a very transparent manner. We don’t charge entry fees or exit fees or use products that do. We charge a flat fee for our time. We like to keep it simple to give our clients the peace of mind that we are looking after their investment needs.

The areas of advice we specialise in are superannuation and self managed super funds, as well as investing and insurance.

If you would like to contact me to discuss our services, please call 5221 6111.
